Richa Ghosh – The Girl Who Hits Like a Boss!
She started young, played with boys, and still hit harder than most! Richa Ghosh was born on 28 September 2003 in Siliguri, West Bengal. Her father used to take her to cricket matches as a tiny four-year-old, and she quickly fell in love with the game. She made her place in Bengal domestic cricket at just 14 and became a wicketkeeper-batter who made her India debut at only 16. In 2023, she scored a half-century on her Test debut against Australia, and at the 2025 Women's World Cup, she smashed a record-breaking 94 from the lower order against South Africa — the highest-ever score by a number eight batter in women's ODIs. She helped India win the 2025 World Cup title. Richa is fearless, fun to watch, and just getting started!
