Born on 12 October 1997 in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Rinku started representing UP from the Under-16 level and scored a stunning 83 on his very first List A match appearance at age 16. His big moment came in IPL 2023 when he hit five consecutive sixes in the last over against Gujarat Titans to win an almost-impossible game for Kolkata Knight Riders — becoming the first Indian ever to do this in the IPL.
