An investment leader has warned that New Zealanders may have to work into their 70s if the country is to afford its superannuation system in the decades ahead. Speaking at the New Zealand Economic Forum held at Waikato University, Blair Turnbull, CEO of Milford Investments, delivered a stark message: without significant reform, the current superannuation model may become financially unsustainable.
